JACKSON, MI — Melissa Trimmer, corporate executive chef and director of the Culinary & Innovation Studio for Dawn Foods, received the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Pastry Chef of the Year Award 2022 designated by the ACF’s Michigan Chefs de Cuisine chapter.
The ACF was unable to host its Chef of the Year dinner for two years due to COVID-19. As a result, the 2022 and 2023 award recipients were honored at this year’s event on Jan. 22.
Trimmer’s award highlights her contributions to the culinary industry, including her active engagement and participation in the baking industry. In the coming months, she will continue her industry contributions and participate in speaking engagements, judging student competitions and more.
