NEW YORK — A national milestone is serving as the right opportunity for Chip City to offer its customers additional value deals.
The bakery chain announced a month-long promotion in honor of the US’s 250th birthday, offering two Chewie cookies for $2.50 with any purchase of $10 or more.
“Our customers love Chewies, and this promotion is our way of giving back during America’s milestone birthday,” said Fred LeFranc, CEO of Chip City. “We wanted to make the celebration accessible across all our locations, so whether you’re in New York or Virginia, this deal is for you.”
The promotion is available at the brand’s 39 brick-and-mortar locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia and Texas.
Timing the promotion around the occasion aligns with similar strategies employed by other bakery brands, such as Krispy Kreme, to drive foot traffic during the “summer slump.”
