MOONACHIE, NJ — Global bakery brand Paris Baguette is on a growth streak, set to open more than 100 cafes this year alone, with a retail presence in a total of 25 states. The momentum is carrying as the bakery opens its 250th cafe in North America.

“This milestone reflects the shared passion and dedication of our entire Paris Baguette family, from our franchise owners and cafe teams to our loyal guests,” said Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette. “Reaching our 250th cafe underscores our commitment to delivering expertly crafted baked and brewed goods, while creating welcoming spaces that bring joy to every neighborhood we serve.”

The new cafe, located in Frederick, MD, is led by the entrepreneurial team comprising Waseem Mohamad, a former general contractor for Paris Baguette with years of experience building multiple cafes, and his business partners, Prince and Prant Kumar.

“Equally important, we celebrate the remarkable franchise owners and teams who embody our values: fostering entrepreneurship, building strong community connections and sharing our passion for exceptional experiences with every guest,” Tipton added.

With more than 170 franchise agreements awarded, more than 46 cafes opened year-to-date and nearly 450 in development, Paris Baguette is steadily expanding across the US and Canada. As it works toward its goal of opening 1,000 North American locations by 2030, the bakery brand is looking at key US markets, including Massachusetts, Florida, Illinois and Ohio, as well as Canadian markets such as Quebec, Vancouver and Toronto.
