BUENA PARK, CA — Tous les Jours, the global Korean bakery cafe brand, appointed Max Gallegos as chief marketing officer for North America. He will lead marketing strategies across the US and Canada, overseeing brand, category, creative, digital, loyalty and field categories.

This appointment comes as the company expands its North American presence and works toward a goal of reaching 1,000 locations in the US by 2030.

“Max brings the experience to help us grow with purpose while staying true to what makes Tous les Jours special,” said Seungjun An, CEO of CJ Foodville USA, parent company of the bakery. “He understands how to earn guests’ trust and build lasting partnerships with our franchise owners. His leadership will be important as we bring Tous les Jours to more communities across North America.”

Gallegos joins the bakery after more than 25 years with McDonald’s Corp., where he held senior roles in communications, strategy, marketing and field leadership. Earlier in his career, he led a $5 billion regional business unit in the Southwest.

“What makes Tous les Jours unique is how it brings Korean bakery heritage and French baking craft into a welcoming experience, whether someone is stopping in for a morning pastry or choosing a cake for a celebration,” Gallegos said. “I want us to become North America’s preferred bakery cafe by earning a place in more guests’ everyday routines and growing alongside our franchise partners in the communities they serve.”
