NEW YORK — The 2025 New York BagelFest, created by BagelUp and presented by King Arthur Baking Co., is preparing for another year of celebrating the stories, traditions and culture surrounding the classic New York-style bagel. Set for Nov. 16, this year’s event will showcase the best in the bagel scene, with community-centered fun embedded throughout.
Finding its start as a small gathering for bagel enthusiasts in 2019, BagelFest has grown into a premier trade and consumer show for the bagel industry. The event attracts thousands of attendees and propels bagel shops to significant achievements, such as major funding and expansion.
BagelFest hosts competitions for a range of categories, including Best Bagel, Most Creative, Best of the Boroughs and more, where attendees vote for the winners alongside a panel of expert judges. In addition to competitions, the festival offers tastings, community experiences and hands-on training for the art of bagel making.
