NEW YORK — Levain Bakery, an NYC staple known for its large, indulgent cookies, is partnering with home decor brand Crate & Barrel on an exclusive 17-piece collection of baking tools, serveware and kitchen accessories.
For Levain, this partnership has been a goal long before it ever reached business potential. The bakery uses Crate & Barrel pieces to display its cookies in stores, highlighting how the clean, simple designs let the baked goods take center stage.
“One of our favorite ways to show our love is through baking,” said Pam Weekes co-founder of Levain Bakery. “It’s how we bring people together, whether that’s behind the counter at Levain or around a kitchen table at home. With Crate & Barrel, we got consumed with every detail, the tools and touches we rely on, and turned them into something home bakers will actually use and love. Our hope is simple: more flour on the counter, more cookies in the oven, and more crumbs on the plate.”
From blue ceramic crates to glasses embedded with cookie prints, the collection turns details from Levain’s bakeries into keepsakes and tools for cottage and retail baking. The ceramic Mini Crate is inspired by the berry box colanders that have long showcased the bakery’s fresh-baked cookies, while select textiles, tools and serveware feature custom illustrations by artist Libby VanderPloeg.
