CHARLOTTE, NC — Donut-lovers in Minneapolis will soon be satiated with a new Krispy Kreme location, set to open Nov. 12.
The new shop, located in Fridley, MN, will include the bakery’s signature Hot Light, signaling fresh Original Glazed donuts. Its central location will allow the brand to produce donuts for delivery to select retailers across the state.
“We’re thrilled to return to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, a location where fans have been asking us to come back for nearly two decades,” said Krispy Kreme’s CEO Josh Charlesworth. “This strategic location allows us to serve Minnesotans across the state, and we can’t wait to bring the most amazing donut experience imaginable back to the community.”
The 12,000-square-foot shop will be open seven days a week. Guests can purchase donuts in-store for takeout, via the drive-thru, or online. The shop will also serve special limited-time offerings for seasonal moments and special occasions.
Throughout grand opening week, Krispy Kreme will award 10 dozen patrons a free Celebration Ticket, worth a dozen free Original Glazed donuts every month for an entire year.
