PHILADELPHIA — Two key leadership additions are fostering the growth of Insomnia Cookies.
Ra’Chard Dennis has been named senior VP of operations, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience to the role. He will oversee Insomnia’s operational support functions to ensure a seamless store and delivery experience.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ra’Chard to the Insomnia family,” said Seth Berkowitz, CEO and founder of Insomnia Cookies. “His deep operational expertise and growth mindset will help to strengthen our in-store execution and elevate the Insomnia experience at scale with our continued commitment to delivering warm, delicious cookies to Insomniacs around the globe.”
With extensive food industry experience, Dennis will help Insomnia reach its goals of opening more than 1,800 bakeries over the next decade.
In addition to Dennis’ appointment, the cookie brand also welcomed Alexander Rosenthal, director at Verlinvest, to its board of directors. Rosenthal leads US platform investment for Verlinvest and has partnered with trailblazers across the industry. This addition follows the global consumer investment firm’s increased stake in Insomnia.
“We’re excited to welcome Alexander to the board at a pivotal time in our growth journey,” Berkowitz said. “His consumer insight, global perspective and close partnership with Verlinvest will be invaluable as we scale the brand and explore new growth opportunities.”
