JACKSON, MI — Through its Dawn Distribution Advantage (DDA) network, Dawn Foods announced South Chicago Packing and Royal Star Food Corp. as its North America Vendors of the Year for 2024.

Each year, the DDA — a customer-focused buying cooperative that consists of Dawn’s distribution centers and independent distributor partners — recognizes vendors that deliver growth and outstanding partnership for regional customers.
South Chicago Packing is a fifth-generation family-owned business that began in the Chicago Stockyards more than 130 years ago. South Chicago Packing’s products are used by restaurants, bakeries and numerous other industries. The company has worked closely with Dawn since 2020, and packs three Dawn Foods Bakery Essentials labeled products.
